DS Player

Important notice

DS Player is only a media player. It does not provide, sell or broker any IPTV service, broadcast, channel, film, series or subscription, and the app contains no content.

The playlists you add and the content in them are entirely your own choice. You alone are responsible for whether that content is lawful, for respecting copyright and broadcasting rights, and for any use of the app. Do not use the app to watch content you have no right to watch.

PRIVACY NOTICE

1. Data controller
The data controller details have not been set yet.

2. Personal data processed
• Device details: model, operating system and app version, display and hardware features, device identifiers derived from them, and the pairing code.
• Playlist details: server address, username and password of the playlists you add; your favourites and category layout.
• Connection and location: IP address and the country and province derived from it.
• Usage logs: app update and campaign display events, smart search usage counts.
• Smart search data (only with your explicit consent): search phrases you type or say, up to 5 recently watched titles, and the names of titles whose synopsis is requested.
Your watch history stays on your device and is not sent to the server, except for the titles sent for smart recommendations.

3. Purposes
Providing the service (device pairing, delivering lists to the device, syncing favourites and layouts), information security and abuse prevention, distributing app updates, showing and measuring regional campaigns; with your explicit consent, smart search, recommendations and synopses.

4. Legal grounds
KVKK Art. 5/2-c (contract), 5/2-ç (legal obligation), 5/2-f (legitimate interest); explicit consent under Art. 5/1 and Art. 9 for smart search features and the related transfer abroad.

5. Transfers
Data may be transferred to the hosting and infrastructure providers used to run the service (whose servers may be abroad) and to authorities where required by law. Smart search data is transferred to the AI provider (OpenAI, USA) only with your explicit consent; your playlist details and catalogue are never sent to that provider.

6. Retention
Data is kept while the device is paired and as long as needed for the service. Smart search usage counters are kept for at most 13 months. Search phrases matched with the result you chose in voice search are kept to correct recognition errors; to tell repeated picks from the same device apart, an irreversible keyed hash of the device identifier is kept for at most 90 days.

7. Your rights
Under KVKK Art. 11 you may ask whether your data is processed, request information about it, learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly, know the recipients, request correction, deletion or destruction, object to a result reached solely by automated analysis, and claim compensation. Send requests to the data controller's email address. You can withdraw your consent for smart search at any time in Settings.

Smart search and recommendations (optional)

I consent to my search phrases and recently watched titles being transferred to an AI provider abroad (OpenAI, USA) for smart search, voice search correction, personal recommendations and synopses. If you do not consent, search and recommendations keep working on your device.
